Your Life Plan

"But before you come to the earth - when you are still in the spirit world before you come into form, the physical form - you get together with all of the people you are ever going to know in your life - relatives, friends, acquaintances, and so forth - and you all plan.

People come to the earth in groups. Some of them don't meet for many years on the earth, but they come together in groups who have chosen to experience a certain kind of adventure and they all choose the parts that they will play.

Now, I know this sounds very simplistic but it is the truth. When you get ready to come to the earth, you will choose your parents. Now, before they come to earth, they have agreed to be a parent to you. And you say, 'Well, I killed you in the last lifetime. Do you want to kill me in this one?' 'Sure, why not.' And they choose to do these things and they play out that part always for the opportunity of learning to rise above it, to love anyway.

Now, I know that sounds difficult when you see little children who are starving to death and people who are so oppressed they have no hope, but they still chose that experience. Does that mean that you shouldn't care about them or you shouldn't feel a love and a desire to help? Not at all. Not at all. It just means that they have chosen, for whatever reason, to go through that experience."
