Jesus the Rebel

“He (Jesus) broke the rules. He did as best as he could in his time to desegregate, to bring unity. He honored everyone, everyone. What audacity did he have when he was on the cross to say to the thief, ‘This day thou shall be with me in paradise?’

These are the truths that he lived. This was what he was about. He was a rebel, not in a militant way. He was a rebel to bring spiritual truth, to break away the old codes, to break away from the old, rigid way.

…Who has such wisdom that they can look into the heart of another and know what lies there? Who? Who can look at creatures and not see that God looked upon them and found them good? And what code of ethics is it that says that because a creature is not human, therefore it is subservient and should not have the right to its life as its own nature dictates?

Jesus never commanded anyone to do anything that was not in their nature, even when it came to raising Lazarus. He asked Lazarus, ‘Do you want to come back to the earth or not?’ And Lazarus said, ‘Indeed I do.’ And he said, ‘Come forth.’

He allowed people to be who they were and he loved who they were. He never said, ‘Well, I will accept this one to come and hear me but that one can’t come because he wears a turban upon his head.’ Whether they were Jew or Gentile, Greek, or Roman… Oh, the Roman soldiers used to sneak in to hear him. They would sit around upon their horses as though to be guarding the crowd but they were listening. They were listening.

Beloved, the message today is the same, absolutely the same. Do not judge another. You have no right. You aren’t smart enough. You don’t know what’s in that person’s heart. And how can you judge by their actions? How many of you act out of something you don’t believe in, and if you think you don’t, how many of you are absolutely, passionately in love with your jobs? Do you not do what you are told because you must?

Everyone has a point at which their own sacred truth should be recognized and allowed to be.

…For your world to survive, what has been taught is to be lived. What is in error is to be let go. …In the days to come when the turmoil is upon your earth, remember who you are. Remember the truths that you have been presented with, not only from me. …Learn to recognize that Jesus was a human being who chose to bring forth from the within of himself the Son of God, to live it openly, to love freely, to give joyously, to share and to embrace and to bring into life all that he knew of the Spirit Self of him. He got to know God by knowing himself. ....He came with the purpose of teaching and living the teachings that he taught.”
