Spiritually Powerful

“Physical situations are always dealt with from a spiritual perspective by angels, always, without fail. It doesn’t matter whether it is an extreme condition or whether it is simply your trying to make up your mind to go here or go there. It is always looked upon as a spiritual happening because in truth it is a spiritual happening.

If you could know what little bearing your physical lives have from a spiritual standpoint upon the soul aspect of you, you would understand why we say that every happening is a spiritual happening to you. Everything that happens to you is a spiritual decision. It is a time, an opportunity for you to choose the spiritual path or to choose to become entangled in appearance, entangled in the energies of what the ego would have you believe. So everything that happens to you is a spiritual choice.

Now you might think, ‘But some of the things that happen to me are not spiritual at all. They are very earthy. What about that?’ Even that has its beginning in a spiritual idea that you took within yourself for the purpose of the gift it could give you. It brings to you ever an opportunity to discover how powerful you are spiritually, how truly powerful you are.

Some of you think that you are victims of circumstances, ‘Well, I can’t change this person. I can’t change that situation because of this person.’ No. You don’t have to change a situation because of another person. You change whatever you change because of you, within yourself. You make the decision from the spiritual aspect of you as to what the gift is. You have asked for that gift for you to show yourself, show your personality, how spiritually powerful you truly are.”
