Spiritual Growth & Forgiveness

Experiences for Spiritual Growth

Each of you has come to the earth plane basically for one purpose – to grow spiritually. That takes many, many different avenues, many different roads. It doesn’t have anything to do with religion.

Some people come to earth to learn, to grow, to progress, and they choose a way that best brings to them the experiences that they need. One would assume that would be something of a religious order of some sort, or a nurse, or a doctor, or some such thing as that. Sometimes, the person who grows the most, helps the most, is a prostitute or a criminal of some sort.

You cannot judge another person by what they’re doing or even by what they’re saying because whatever they’re doing or saying is for their benefit or growth, even if it appears to everyone else to be a very horrible thing. This is why forgiveness is so important.

Forgiveness

Each of you, every day of your lives, encounter situations in which you need to be forgiving. Does this mean you agree with what’s going on? Not at all. It simply means you understand that what is going on is for the purpose of someone’s growth. It may not be yours; it may be someone else’s. But everything has a divine purpose. Everything.

Forgiveness in a lot of people’s minds means agreeing with what’s going on; and they just can’t agree with that. That’s not what it means at all.
