How to Pray for Healing

"Prayers for healing start with the recognition that you are Spirit. In that spirituality you are heirs to everything that is good, holy, and sacred. You have the ability to manifest that holiness down through all the states of consciousness that you have, down into the physical form. The cells of your body are programmed for perfect health, everything about you radiates the Father, and the Father is perfection.

When you pray only for healing a particular malady, you are not praying for the whole person. If you pray not to have a certain ailment, you are not considering the rest of you: the rest of your physical form, the rest of your mental abilities, the rest of your emotions, the rest of you as a total person. Praying only to be healed of a certain disease is like climbing under the table looking for crumbs when there is a whole loaf on the top of the table. Asking to be made whole includes every aspect of your being and that includes becoming aware of the resounding of the spiritual tone, that silver bell-like resonance that is the at-one-ment of you and the Father."
