Do Something About War

"...There is another way of dealing with karma and that ...takes a lot of letting go, releasing, and allowing, and that is to recognize that you've never done anything you shouldn't and neither has anyone else. And there's nothing to be forgiven for.

Now, I know everyone in this room is thinking, 'What? That isn't true. I know this and this and this and that's terrible and that happened,' and so forth and so on and you could all name me ten thousand things where you would say, 'Well, that is wrong.' But when you get into the Spirit of you, you recognize that everything below that is a result of your thinking and your creativity. You have participated in creating circumstances, even if it isn't a physical participation.

For example, upon your earth plane, now you have an area of your earth where there is a war, do you not? There's a battle going on. Not too many people are thinking kindly of the enemy. A lot of people are saying, 'Go over there and bomb them out of existence.' Now, what kind of thing do you think that kind of thinking draws to you?

Life is supportive, it's nurturing, it's ongoing, it's ever becoming, and when you think thoughts that are destructive, you are going contrary to the flow of life and you are trying to turn everything upside down. And that's what war is. War is the upside-downness that is the result of people's thinking.

So any negative condition is upside-down thinking and to make it right, you simply forgive. Now. when you forgive, does that mean that you agree with what the person is doing or saying? Not at all. It simply means that you recognize that they are acting out of fear and not out of love and you are going to love them past that.

Now, there's a little verse that Beloved Woman is fond of and it goes something like...

He drew a circle of anger, a thing to flout.

And he drew it, that circle, to keep us out.

`But love and I had a will to win

And we drew a circle that took him in.

And it's that same philosophy, to go beyond appearance, beyond what looks like has happened and into the truth, which is that life is good. It is lovely, and it is filled with all of the blessings you could possibly hold."
