"Now, when you create an intent - let us say it is a wonderous idea for something, something you greatly desire - you create your intent and ...you don't vary it. You don't change your mind. You hold to that intent, and you don't ever let anyone or anything persuade you from it.
...So all laws work on your behalf. All laws bring it to you.
Now. where a lot of people make their mistake is they create another intent beside it and then another beside it. This one is the original (A). This one is your idea of how it should happen (B). And this one is your idea of everything you need to make it happen (C). Now what are you doing?
You're diluting this (A). Not only are you diluting that, you're changing the form because its form has to break apart to include that which is over here (B). Now it has to draw in another intent, and this intent has to draw in this intent over here (C), until finally, instead of one pure intent, what have you got? You've got a mutilated first intent (D). Does that make sense to you? And everybody does it.
Now, you've got all this chaos coming in. The only problem is, it doesn't have a clear, delineated intent to adhere to. Now it has a hybrid. Now it has something that is not clear and plain, so its attachment is going to be chaotic. It's not going to be smooth and clean. ...What are you going to get? You're going to get chaos with no clear intent. And that's how things go awry with you. Do you understand?
So when you are creating...you must keep clear your intent and not get sidetracked off onto one thing and then another and then another. And getting sidetracked is what shoots you down.
...So for you, when you get out of your concrete mind - such as when you're in meditation, when you are sleeping, when you are in a state of muse where you are kind of just out there somewhere - you are going up into your causal mind, and it is there that you access divine ideas.
...From the causal mind comes your intent. And remember, things that are in the causal mind are very, very pure - very pure, very filled with the energy of Spirit. When they get into your concrete mind, your emotions enter in. Your emotions have a lot to do with how you think...then the purity begins to diminish and in its place, rather, you have chaotic thinking, because here you have entered into an energy without an intent.
To maintain that purity, you must be willing to hush the voice of reason and go with your intuitive instincts, and not very many people do that. However, when you do, you bring into being a pure, pure intent, and it is a very powerful one, a very strong, solid one. And when you recognize that intent and don't allow your emotions - the mood you are in ...or whatever excuse you care to use - to interfere, when you hold to your divine intent, you will bring to you all of the things necessary - all of the things necessary, ALL of the things necessary - for that divine intent to manifest."
