A Course of Miracles

"A Course of Miracles comes as close (i.e. to truth) as you are going to get. But remember, and this is in no wise a criticism. Whenever there is something written, two things happen:. As soon as people come to realize its truth, it becomes sacred to the people. Once it becomes sacred, it begins its downfall. Because nothing more can be added to it, because they consider it closed.

Even with the book 'The Course of Miracles' that is a very pure Book. The teachings in it are very pure, and very, very near to truth! However, if it becomes a sacred book, it will become useless, because nothing can be added to it. Once you stop growing, you become stagnant in your thinking and this is what happened to the people of the Old Testament. They became stagnant in their thinking. They didn't go past what God said in their mind and therefore, they closed themselves to any new information."
