A Blessing

Happy Thanksgiving! "Now, thoughts are magnetic. Your mind is a magnetic structure, and it will draw to it the energy needed to express the thought that you are creating. Now, if that thought be one of love, or some benevolent caring thing, then that energy that comes forth in that thought will be what you term to be a blessing. But if that thought ...is of a negative nature, whether it be directed at yourself or at another, or an object or whatever, then the energy that goes into that thought is transformed by the thought and will manifest itself in a negative way... This is why we teach you to change your thinking if you want to change the results in your life. Because energy is very easily transformed - it's transformed instantly - just by the changing of your thought."

John the Beloved

The Spoken Word

“People think that to follow God you have to restrict yourself and be narrow and not allow and not do and not be. God, to be expressed from within, is a freedom that you have yet to come to know. It is a freedom of love, not a freedom to go forth and hurt, but a freedom to go forth and love whomever you will. Whether they love you back or not has absolutely nothing to do with it. Most of the people that I (i.e. Jesus) loved didn't love me... not at all. And oddly enough, the people who one would think wouldn't like me were the ones who loved me the most, namely Judas. Judas loved me dearly and paid for it with his life

               Within every human being, there is a living spirit that is the truth of your being and that spirit is the child of God of you. That spirit in you is pure and holy. It knows no sin. It knows no error. It knows nothing of anything that would make you bad or wrong or not what you should be, for that spirit is cast perfectly, absolutely perfectly, in the image and likeness of God.

               Around that spirit you have the personality, that you yourselves have created, and that personality is the Roman soldiers around the Hebrew people, if you will - the limitations, the hounding, the ‘Thou shall nots.’ Because you have this holiness within you, because you are a sacred, precious emanation of all that is, you have this truth laying latent there.

               Do you know what a sounding fork is? In music, it is that which is struck and its vibration sets of tone. Interestingly enough, if you were to take two of these and you were to lock one away and strike the other, the one that is locked away would reverberate with the tone of the one that was struck. It would respond in kind in the vibration of the first sounding fork. And you can prove this to yourself. Get two and try this experiment and you will find that the second responds to the first period. Why? Because, within both of them, is the same quality. Within both of them is the same Spirit. And when one Spirit lifts up and speaks out loud, the Spirits of all must respond.

               Now I'll tell you something about the spoken word... it is power. Why? Because it is an energy unto itself. It will call to the feeling nature of anyone who hears the words. When you hear words, something inside of you reacts did that, does it not? You either agree or you disagree or you don't care or you care greatly, but it is the spoken word that brings forth the reaction.

               Now within you is the same spirit that is in me; lying asleep, curled up in the boat of your consciousness is the Christ. It is the sounding fork. It came forth and I spoke! And the words that I spoke 2000 years hence are still making people react. They either hate me or they love me, but they have some feeling, some one way or the other. They are either for me or they are against me. They either believe in me or they totally disbelieve in me, but there is nothing that brings a person's reaction out quicker than the discussion of whether or not I ever existed and if I did, was I indeed born of a virgin and was God really my father and who was Joseph and how could I, this man of sorrow, which I never was… I loved life! How could you love God and not love life? How could this person go about healing and raising the dead? The controversy over the life of the men rages on still. Why? Because I spoke a truth and it resonated throughout eternity and it will always resonate because I spoke with the voice of Christ. I spoke with the authority of the Father. Everything I did, I did because I was told to from the God within my breast... everything I did.”
