“The yearning that you project out to another, as it were, is actually the spirit yearning to be at-one with God. But because that is not a thing that is recognized readily by humankind, you project it as needing a mate. …So, your longing for another is only that which you would draw to you that would love you, not recognizing the love you seek is your own. …The yearning is transformed. It is lifted up and the yearning then becomes a yearning to know God, to be at-one with that Divine Love, to seek only it and only it will satisfy the yearning.”

“As you love yourselves and as you lift yourselves up in light, you will draw all things. When the Master Jesus said, ‘Behold, I draw all men unto me,’ it was the Christ that he was referring to that pulled all life upward. All life! Whatever form it takes. As humankind goes up, all life goes with it.”

“The situations that any of you, all of you, find yourselves in that you perceive to be so entangling are presented to you, by you, for the purpose of your dissolving them. One way to become disentangled is to pull your energy out of it and then watch it disappear... The thing is, whatever is being presented to you is outside of you until you internalize it by giving it energy. You have projected these illustrations outward. Then you approach them, and you see them as the enemy. Then you immediately engage or entangle yourself in them.

The key is to remember, when you are confronted with the situation, first you say to yourself, ‘I have placed it here.’ Then, you do not follow it with, ‘What was I thinking?’ Because that doesn't do anything for you. The next thing you do is say to yourself, ‘Why? Why am I looking at this situation? Why is it being presented to me?’

The next step is to not take the attitude that it is presented to me because the other fellow is in error perception. If it was only the other fellow in error perception, you wouldn't be aware of this situation. You have to be on the same wavelength, or you are not aware of the situation. So that means the other fellow is not the only one in error perception. You have jumped in again, both feet with them.

So, you come to a situation. You perceive it there. Then you say, ‘Why?’ And then you go inside. Now I know you all know how to go inside yourselves because we (i.e. angels) have watched you go inside yourselves when you are driving your modes of transportation.           …When you made a situation, going within is just a matter of shifting your focus from out there to in here. That is all it is: changing focus. Once you have done this, Beloveds, then you can get into the ‘Why are you meeting this situation on your path?’ Then, you will be dealing with you and your perceptions.

Don't take the attitude that you are in the wrong. We have watched you. Whenever you have gone within with the situation, you immediately assume that somehow you are to blame. Some of you here are extremely into blaming yourselves, condemning yourselves. The other part of you blames the other guy, and that immediately takes your focus out of yourself and into the situation again. This is what you don't want to do. So, keep yourself centered within and ask, ‘Why?’ Now the next step is to say to the higher self of you, to God, or however you want to direct it: ‘The vision I have of this is holy. The words I speak are holy. The action I take is holy. And the end result of this is holy.’

Then you put the whole thing out of your mind and you leave it be. You don't go back to mend fences. A lot of you put it out of your mind and then come to one of your lights that say halt. You sit there and think, ‘Then I should say…’ and you go back into it again/ Get out of it and stay out of it until it is required for you by external conditions to come back into this situation again. Now that is the last of disengagement.

Now we're going to discernment. There is where a lot of you get all mixed up. Discernment puts in no energy, invests nothing in this situation. Discernment is observation without attachment… One of the mistakes you all make, humankind makes, is that you desire to have an outcome be a certain way. Once you get into the outcome you don't see the path leading to it clearly. You are so caught in what is going to be the end result that you don't bother to figure out the little steps along the way. So, in discernment, you observe without investing in how it concludes,

Now, the thing is, Beloved, the outcome is going to be according to the highest good for all those involved because that is only, only whatever happens in any situation. Ah, yes, it is. I can hear some of you thinking, ‘Oh no, I don't think so, because I can think of things that didn't turn out/ No, no, he's wrong there.’ I have been around longer than you! Now, the thing is Beloveds, you perceive the conclusion of a situation to be good or bad, right or wrong, beneficial or harmful, according to what? Your perception and your judgment.

... It is all in how you look at it. It is all in how you are willing to remain an observer until you know all of the facts. It is a matter of your being able to love unconditionally enough that if your offspring is on the other side of the world or if they are under your nose, it isn't going to make any difference in your feelings.

Now that is true discernment. It is when you can meet an extremely difficult situation that has mixed blessings, or no blessings, and still not get into it to the point where it wears on you.”
