Yearning for a Mate

  • Mar 4
  • 1 min read

“The yearning that you project out to another, as it were, is actually the spirit yearning to be at-one with God. But because that is not a thing that is recognized readily by humankind, you project it as needing a mate. …So, your longing for another is only that which you would draw to you that would love you, not recognizing the love you seek is your own. …The yearning is transformed. It is lifted up and the yearning then becomes a yearning to know God, to be at-one with that Divine Love, to seek only it and only it will satisfy the yearning.”
