“Now, if the ego can convince you that if you go onto the spiritual path you’re going to be the only one there, you’re not going to go, are you?… Now, the ego would have you believe the spiritual path is unattainable, that you are wasting your time. There is no reason for you to be upon a spiritual path because you’re going to be there all by yourself. It’s going to be lonely, you’re going to feel all terrible, and all of that sort of thing. That’s the ego’s way of keeping you from discovering and using the God of you. The spiritual path is actually the only one that is. All of you have filled it with illusion of it not being a spiritual path, therefore nobody knows they’re there.”
