What is a Belief System?

"Do you know what a belief system is? It is a habit of thought based entirely upon what is external to you. In other words, it is what you see, hear, and experience from the outside in. ...Belief systems very rarely are true. Almost 99% of them are based on error perceptions. Very few people really have experienced pure truth. Why? Because you look for it out there to come in and it doesn't. It doesn't work like that. Pure truth is within you and it goes from the inside out."
