Using Power

“I want you to understand that you are welcome to share what you feel comfortable sharing. However, do know that if it is a power you are sharing, you are diminishing it within yourself. The only way it can be replenished is for you to explicitly ask that it be given to you - As you have given it, may it be returned to you.

If you are truly in tune with your intent, that replenishment will happen immediately or within a close proximity. If you're asking only with words and without intent, it will not be returned to you. You must understand that everything that comes to you, be it of good or of ill, is done so because you have feeling in it, because it is a kind of intensity on your part. The intensity on your part is the magnetic pull that will draw the energy to you.

You do have to understand that all energy is magnetic and it will come to you or be repelled from you according to your intent, according to the knowledge you have in using it, and according to how much you believe that you have this power to use. A lot of people know about the power but don't believe they have it.

L et me explain. When you are teaching, you are bringing forth a clarity, a truth, a wisdom, if you will. When you are using power, it is frequently without voice. That is frequently something that you do with your mind rather than with your voice - so there is a difference. Sharing wisdom, helping, aiding others in growth, you never lose anything doing that. But sharing a power... Let me tell you what a power would be. It would be the conscious manipulation of energy to accomplish a particular feat. That is something that is quite different from teaching a truth. There is just as much truth in the power. However, power is not a teaching device, which is why we do not do phenomenon....

  In healing, you are using a healing power. There is a considerable difference between healing power and the power that I am referring to. Both of them work quite well; but the purpose of healing is restoration, while the purpose of using power is accomplishing something that may not have been before. So there lies the difference - one is restorative, the other is a creative power.

            ... But the power that I am talking about is a power where, depending upon whose hands it is in, what it does varies. The power itself has no conscience in that it does not discern right from wrong, nor does it judge or weigh circumstances or anything of that sort. It simply is an action that accomplishes certain things. The power itself is neither good nor bad; It simply is. What you do with it determines whether it is of good or of ill."
