Two Key Elements in Earthly Situations

“Now there are always certain elements that are involved in any earthly situation. The first element is the opportunity to use your God self. That is always the first and foremost reason why one chooses certain difficulties. They give you the opportunity to prove that you are master over them, that you are never a victim… The second reason is discernment. How do you look at a situation? …Do you see it as something fearful, something over which you have no control, or do you see it as, ‘I shall walk through this and I shall take from it its blessing. That is all that I shall take from it?’”
