"You always have two choices, always! One is to listen to the voice of the ego, which will take you down the rosy path to nowhere, or the voice of God which speaks equally inside of you. On the one hand, the ego will direct you to anger, to judgment, to feeling holier than thou, as you term it, to feeling victimized, to feeling out of control, to feeling that you have no rights. The voice of God will ever love you, ever teach you to be loving, ever guide you in ways that are sustaining and life giving, ever lead you to know a love within you that will transcend anything that anyone could ever do!"
