Trying to Love God

"Trying to love God is putting the cart before the horse. You already love God. What you need is to let go of the obstacles that cause you to think you don't. When God brought you forth... It was a profound, all-encompassing love and that has never changed. It is only that you have piled layer upon layer, upon layer, upon layer to cover up that sensitivity to that love. ...You are stripping off these layers and allowing that which already is to become a conscious knowingness within you."
