Satan is Ego

Participant: In our Scripture, there is a story about Master Jesus being tempted to turn stones into bread and take over the world and that sort of thing. Was that his ego talking to him?

Gabriel: That was his ego indeed.

Participant: And what we sometimes call Satan, is that our ego?

Gabriel: There is no Satan, so it has to be the ego. And that part of him... it was after that [event] that he came forth manifesting the Christ. It was after that [when] he began to do his miracles."
