"Question: When a dog or a cat passes over into spirit, could it come back as another pet?

Gabriel: It can. A cat will not come back as a dog, nor a dog as a horse, or anything of that sort. They stay within their realm. A dog will always return as a dog or of the dog kingdom – wolf, fox, whatever. Very rarely does a domestic dog revert back to a wild state… Now, you can change within a species – a horse can become a donkey, a lion can become a pussycat, a wolf can become a dog or a fox – within the realm of their species, but not outside of that, for that is the vibration upon which they were created and it is that form that that vibration would call forth… They have to stay withing their realm."
