"If you have asked sincerely to be forgiven and the person says, 'No, I can never forgive you,' then you step away and you say, "Then I leave you lovingly in the hands of God for I know that God has forgiven me and I forgive myself." You go your way in peace and you leave the person with that... Pull your energy out of the karma. You don't have to physically leave the person if you choose not to, but be sure you stay through love and not through guilt."
