Love Without Attachment


"Loving without attachment is the first and perhaps the most important step toward unconditional love. When one loves without attachment, one loves without thought of what could come back in exchange. In other words, you are willing to love for the joy of the loving, and it doesn't matter whether the other person loves you back or not. You enjoy loving them just as much whether they love you or not. This is loving without attachment."
