Keeping Silent About Plans

“When I say to keep silent, let me explain something so you understand. When you tell of plans you have or of actions you are going to take, you put out two things: 1) you put out a magnetic field that's going to draw to you the energies that you need, but 2) at the same time, you make it “public domain.” Do you understand what that means? You are giving out an energy that anyone can pick up and use. When they use it, it is no longer available to you, and this is the purpose of keeping silent about plans you make. It isn't because you are doing something hidden or dark or don't want anyone to find out. It's not that at all. It's maintaining a connection, a magnetic connection, to your plan. If your plan involves other people, whose assistance you will require, then of course you do have to share it. But if it is internal work - all of this which is being taught to you today is based on internal work - those are the things you keep silent about, because those are the things that only you and your magnetic field have the power to use... and you don't want to give that power to someone else.

When you feel... that someone else is stronger than you, wiser than you, better than you, or when you feel dominated, that is when you have given away power. You have all heard the term, “don’t give your power away,” which you have taken to mean, “stand up for yourself,” which it does mean.

                On a higher deeper level, it also means to keep your own counsel. You have the greatest ally in your higher self, and it is with your higher self that you will be working. You are not going to be working with someone else's higher self. You're going to be working only with your higher self. Therefore, the higher self of you knows your intent, knows your plan, and will work with you. But if you give your power away to someone else, that lessens the connection between you and your higher self, and then the higher self pulls back and the assistance that it could be is no longer with you.

                These are very deep truths, and ones that I'm sure you're all going to have to consider quite at length to truly understand.

                It goes back before time, one could say, that to know a truth is to be in tune with it; and to be in tune with it means to be aware of it, not as an external thing but, as an integral part of the self of you. There is a web of life, which we have shown to Penny, there is a web of life in which all living things - plants, animals, people - are joined.

                In the beingness of you, there is what we here term, a silver thread. This thread is absolutely identical among humankind, animal kind, plant life, insect life, microscopic life -  life wherever and however it is. Along with this is the thread of life which causes you to be who you are: a person, a flower, an animal, whatever. These two things are intricately wound together. They are separate, and yet they are wound together. They are wound together because it is the connection between all forms of life, so that what happens to one form, quite literally, affects all other forms.”
