Giving Up vs. Surrender

"You can say, 'Oh, I give up.' That is a very negative way. That is an attitude of 'Well, I'm not going to try anymore because I can't win.' But when you say, 'I surrender,' what you are doing is you are surrendering all that negative energy to the Holy Spirit who joyously takes it, transforms it into positive energy and sets the situation straight. So there is a great difference in giving up and surrender. "
