Fearlessness vs. Courage

“Fearlessness is when you do not perceive there is any danger. Courage is when you see the danger and you go forward anyway. In the example you gave, you perceive you could drown because you are not a strong swimmer. But your desire to save your fellow being gives you the courage to go out into the water, place your life on the line by your perceptions, and drag this person back. Fearlessness is when you do not perceive that there is anything for you to be fearful of. It is a feeling of, ‘Ah indeed, they are in peril. I shall go and bring them back and let them know they are safe.’ ... Have you not started out on some great adventure? Then, someone hollers something to you, or your ego mentions something to you, and you feel, ‘Oh, indeed, I cannot do this.’ Have you not done that? Indeed, you have. It doesn't have to be on a grand scale. It is in the little everyday things that you build up your spiritual muscles.”
