Encountering Your Ego

"Participant: ...in order to slay your ego, you love whoever you might have difficulty with and you pray for them and you lift them up to their highest good and you don't judge them... is there anything else we can do in order to do that?

Gabriel: Indeed. When you encounter your ego - and all of you do, many times - ...what you must do is recognize it. Bless it and say, 'You have no part of me anymore, for I am working from the Lord God of my being.' And you must do this as many times as is necessary. Work with yourself and bless yourself and love yourself as well as you do the other person. Working only with them is not enough. You must do both halves."
