Creative Inspiration

"When you sit down to write or create anything, whether it be a painting or a book, say, 'Father, I am open to receive Your inspiration through me, that everything that is expressed is holy and divine.' That doesn't mean that you would be writing about religion or spiritual things. You could be writing on how to cross a busy street. But the inspiration of it would be beyond form. It would come in, in the purity of a divine idea. That simple prayer will get you a lot of wonderful stuff."

As a writer, I totally relate to this wonderful message from Gabriel. Before I sit down to write, i always center myself and connect to my Higher Self for guidance. I may use the Healer's Prayer from ACIM, or something similar. Thanks to this blog post, I now have Gabriel's powerful prayer to use.
