Cause of Illness

"Everybody thinks that illness produces discomfort, worry, pain, suffering, death. It doesn’t. Those are the results, not the cause. The cause of all illness is the desire to punish the wayward Child of God and cause that Child to suffer for his ‘sins’… When you can forgive yourself for what you perceive to be worthy of punishment, you will be perfectly healthy… Your perception of illness goes back to the idea of being punished. The early Church fathers were great ones for perpetrating the idea of hell, damnation... The prayer for perfect health begins with the recognition that it is your natural heritage."
