"The idea of baptizing babies actually came from a pagan belief in which children were frequently sacrificed upon the altar of the gods. It was a way of giving your child to God without having it slain. As to whether a soul would enter into a heaven world having not been baptized, heaven is full of unbaptized people. They come and go. The only difference between them and the baptized ones is that sometimes the baptized ones are a little holier-than-thou! But other than that, is it a requirement? No."
