"You withdraw from your physical body (i.e. in sleep) without severing the cord that attaches into the solar plexus and keeps you attached to your body. ...You can just travel wherever you will. ...About the only thing you don't do is to go past a plane where the vibration is so fine that you couldn't manifest on it in your astral body. The astral body is of a certain vibration and will vibrate only on the astral plane...a very vast, limitless place to be. You can go to the lower part, which is dark and not pleasant at all. Or you can go up to the higher astral where it is very wonderous indeed. So you can travel wherever you choose. That is where your dreams come from. You perceive your travels on the astral plane to be dreams."
