Abandoned?

"Is there any way to make you feel more abandoned, more unworthy (i.e. of God's love) than to have everything in your life go wrong? Not at all and the ego sits back with its little satisfied look and saus, 'Ha, did it again. Boy, I'm good.'

What does one do with that? You tune out the voice of the ego and you listen for the soft sweetness of the voice of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will say to you, 'This is an illusion that you created and as you have created it, you can uncreate it. As you have made it your truth, you can unmake it your truth.'"
