A Beatitude – Pure of Heart

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” Oh yes, “the pure of heart” - those who bear no malice toward anyone, those who see the good in even a seeming act of wrong, those whose love is great enough to forgive at the moment some slight, some insult, some wrong thought, those who can look upon a wretched situation and say, “Somewhere in this there is a blessing. Somewhere in this there is joy. Something good must come from this.” Those are the pure of heart and they do see God because they see with the eyes of love and they see and they know that it's all an illusion and that in truth, everything is as it should be, within the human Spirit.
