A Beatitude – Merciful

  • Jun 3
  • 1 min read

“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.” This goes hand in hand with “Judge not lest ye be judged for with the same measure that you measure, so shall it be measured unto you.” When you are merciful, it is a form of compassion, and compassion is very nonjudgmental. It is one of the feelings that the human heart can bestow upon another that truly lifts the spirit out of the dredges, is to be compassionate, to be merciful. We are all in need of mercy from time to time. We are all in the need of forgiveness, of being released from the bondage of an error perception. So to be merciful, indeed, does draw to you mercy for yourself."
