Love vs. Respect

"When you love something, you respect it. You allow it to be what it is and you love it for what it is. When you don't respect it, you try to change it into what you think it ought to be, either its form or its behavior or what it thinks, or what it does. When you love and respect something, you let it be what it wants to express. You don't try to alter it into your way. ...When you respect another person, there is an undercurrent of love or you wouldn't respect the person."

Unifying Love

This is a prayer offered by Archangel Gabriel after the channeled lesson "We Choose Our Experiences" on August 5, 1990.

Father, Who art in all of us,

we, who are the light, the unifying love that brings us ever together,

we give thanks unto You for all that we are,

for we are within You and You are within us.

We are inseparable.

Touch these, Thy Beloveds, Father,

to know this, to claim it, to live it, to be it,

as they are meant to.

All-Encompassing Prayer

This is an all-encompassing prayer that Archangel Gabriel offered at the end of the channeled lesson entitled "Your Soul" on September 5, 1993. May we have the desire to make this prayer our own.

Dear Father God,

By the might of the power that you have given unto me,

I ask Your permission to dispel the shadows of error perceptions

and to allow these lights of goodness, of love, of truth,

to shine ever brighter in their awareness.

Cause them, Father God, to know that there is no separation excepting what they claim. Help them to perceive the unity of life that is You expressing Yourself - Your divinity, Your power, Your love, You joy, Your laughter - in them, through them, and for them.

Lift them, Father God, as only You can

into the light of the truth of their beingness. Let this journey be one of brightness. Let the voice that they hear be the voice of the Christ, and the action in their lives be the action of the Holy Spirit, and the songs that they hear be the songs of angels, now and forever.

So be it.
