Group Soul

"Questioner: I thought there might be a hierarchy of group souls.

Gabriel: No. There is a soul for humankind. Now, there are various degrees of consciousness within that soul...Your green growing things, your vegetables, that has a group soul. The animal kingdom has a group soul. Humankind has a group soul.

Questioner: It is like a vibration or energy.

Gabriel: Indeed, and there is just one. In other words, different races of people do not have different souls."

How to Let Go of the Past

"It (i.e. meditation) is the simplest answer (i.e. to letting go of the past) but it is not the only answer. The other answer would be to carefully guard your thoughts. Everyone plays out little scenes in their minds. We (i.e. angels) watch you. All of you play out these little controversial, 'I said this, and he and she said that,' and back and forth, back and forth. You rehash old arguments... you hold the past right to you. When a thought of the past comes in, just say, 'You have no part of me any longer. I am not interested in you,' and deliberately turn your thoughts to the present moment. That works quite well."

Conversations

"It's entirely possible to have a running conversation with God all day long. You can talk to Him about anything, anything at all and as you do, what do you think is happening? You are establishing a contact with God that is solid and very real. Then you can start talking to Him about all the things that bothered you that you didn't know bothered you because these thoughts will present themselves for your contemplation."
