Archangel Raphael

"Raphael goes about healing! Oh yes!...Raphael is a great and wonderous Archangel, and he is filled with compassion. His whole purpose is to make everybody alright. And he will go into your hospitalities... I can never say your word right...hospitals! Hospitals and he will heal those who desire to be healed, but he always asks if they desire to remain on the Earth and be healed, or to leave their bodies behind and go into the Spirit World, and then he works with them accordingly. He will come if you are feeling ill. He will come if you call upon him, and he will give you healing! But that is his only purpose, is to bring healing, and healing, of course, brings joy!"

A Valuable Lesson

"Now, everyone has come to learn something, and you all have come to teach something. For the interaction between you and others is a teaching, learning thing. Sometimes you are their teacher; sometimes they are your teacher. Even little children come to teach and to learn. Whoever is in your life is your teacher and your student. And you are exchanging with them a valuable lesson that you both needed."

Spirit Over Personality

     There is a story of a little boy, who was taking one of your martial arts. …And he was about 8 years old, and he went to school and the other children decided to pick on him and make his life miserable and so forth and so on.

               Especially one boy in particular, he really picked on him a lot. And the little boy never made a response. He just went about his business and pretended as though the other child wasn't bothering him at all. Well, finally it came to the attention of the teachers that this little fellow was really having quite a tough time, but he never made mention of it. He never acted it out.

               So, the teacher called in the parent, and she came, and they asked the little boy, why he didn't respond to this other child beleaguering him so? And the little fellow said, ‘He chooses to make his life miserable, and I choose not to let his life come into my world!’ Now, there was wisdom in that, for he recognized that the child who was beleaguering him or trying to, was a very troubled person, very unhappy. And he chose not to let that unhappiness come into his world. And so, he didn't. He made no response.

               Know you how it has been said, ‘Resist not evil?’ Now that doesn't mean you allow evil to happen to you. What it means is, you let it go past you. Whenever you resist something, you are engaging it in battle. And the moment you engage it in battle, it enters your world. And the moment it enters your world, you are going to give it energy. By letting it just go by and not engaging in it, you are not taking it into your world and it's not going to affect you. That is what is meant by the Scriptures when it says, ‘Only with thine eye shall thou behold the reward of the wicked.’ Because... you will observe it happening, but it will not affect you. It will not come into your aura and become a part of your world. There are so many little simple things that you can do in your lives to make your lives wondrous indeed! And they are all simple things. It's a matter of learning to think with the spirit of you and not with the personality of you.”
