Women's Retreat, April 21-23rd, 2023

Come join facilitators Sherry Snook, Tammy Roupp, Patricia Ringling, and Jessica Gilbert for a fun-filled weekend and a celebration of life through self-love and self-care.  There will be multiple activities to participate in that will allow you to have fun and just be.  Different activities that will be available are:

• Meditations such as Yoga Nidra meditation (a nice segue to sleep; walking meditations, etc.)
• Projects such as making an intention box, painting, aroma therapy blending, jewelry making, sage fans, and journaling, so bring your journals.
• Yoga will also be offered.

This event will be held at Harvest House, SGF’s Spiritual Retreat Center, in Gilbertsville, NY – about one and a half hours from Syracuse and Albany. Harvest House is a beautiful sanctuary nestled in the woods of the Butternut Valley. Come join in harvest and communion for a restorative and enlightening weekend. Meals and accommodations are all inclusive.

About the facilitators:

Jessica Gilbert has over 25 years of experience in the field of education.  Jessica received her undergraduate degree in Anthropology from SUNY Plattsburgh with a focus on Women's Studies and her Master’s in Education, MEd, in Advanced Studies in Teaching and Learning from George Mason University. Since then, she has participated in countless trainings and workshops, from Education theory and practice, to Canoe training and others, such as Diversity Trainings offered by National Coalition Building Institute (NCBI), The Power of Speaking, and Pre-Natal and Yoga Teacher Training.  Jessica believes the diversity of her experiences has helped her be a more compassionate, understanding person and provides a unique perspective. On a personal note, Jessica was blessed enough to be raised in a family that allowed her to explore her own spiritual beliefs and develop her own identity. Jessica incorporates yoga, educational, and spiritual philosophy, and theory into her way of living and her practice as a teacher, facilitator, coach, and leader.  Additionally, she is a dance enthusiast.

Patricia Ringling: Patricia is a Healer, I am Yoga and Yoga Nidra and breathwork facilitator.

Rev. Tammy Roupp LMT, Reiki Master, Aroma Therapist: Tammy has studied energy work for over 24 years that she integrated into her massage practice. She became a reverend through the Pathway of Light Ministry in Florida. She’s been a participant of SGF for over 11 years.

Rev. Sherry Snook: Sherry is a Healer, and gifted spiritual medium who has been with SGF since 2007. She became a Spiritualist Minister from Fellowship of the Spirit in Lily Dale, NY. She had been a nurse for over 41 years and recently retired to open Harvest House, SGF’s Spiritual Retreat Center.
