Gabriel 101 (The Introduction into Practical Spirituality course)

This weekend retreat is the culmination of the nine month training program that participants entered into to immerse themselves with the teachings of Gabriel in the Introduction to Practical Spirituality book, as well as the lecture, Consciously Planning Your Life. After attending this retreat, participants will be ready to deliver the Practical Spirituality course themselves. Congratulations to all participants!

Facilitating this retreat will be Donald Gilbert & Sherry Snook. 

About Donald Gilbert: Don is a spiritual teacher, therapist, and healer who lives and practices in Albany, NY. He started his career after graduating from Syracuse University in 1970 with a Masters in Social Work. Following a miraculous recovery from brain surgery in 1998, he retired as chairperson and professor of Criminal Justice at Hudson Valley Community College to focus on his spiritual therapeutic practice. Along with the late Rev. Penny Donovan, they started together what is now known as Sacred Garden Fellowship, a non-profit, non-denominational spiritual organization that has been teaching and uplifting spiritual seekers through workshops and healing retreats since 2002.

About Sherry Snook: She has been a nurse for over 41 years and recently retired to follow her heart and open a spiritual retreat center named, Harvest House, in Gilbertsville, NY.   She is passionate about teaching spiritual subjects, which have greatly impacted her life in a very positive way.  She has been with SGF since October, 2007, and has been a medium since childhood; she never understood her abilities until she started to come to SGF and attended classes at Fellowship of the Spirit in Lily Dale, NY. She has since become a Spiritualist Minister and Minister of Spiritual Healing.

This event will be held at Harvest House, SGF’s Spiritual Retreat Center, in Gilbertsville, NY – about one and a half hours from Syracuse and Albany. Harvest House is a beautiful sanctuary nestled in the woods of the Butternut Valley. Come join in harvest and communion for a restorative and enlightening weekend. Meals and accommodations are all inclusive.
