Be Honest with Yourself

“I wish to speak to you today about discernment. It isn’t difficult: it requires clarity of mind and earnest practice – something you all can do.

Everyone soon develops a filtering system in the mind. It is well in place by the age of three. From this system, they form opinions about their surroundings, people, and care. These opinions are rarely correct, but it is on these they base their beliefs. The original purpose of this was to keep one safe and alive, but we quickly added power. Whether that power was of leadership, political, or simply appearance, that’s all it’s ever been.

So, the first thing you must do is figure out what kind of power you fear losing in any situation. That will tell you what is really going on in your head as opposed to the truth of the situation. Nine times out of ten, it has nothing to do with you at all. Now you can see more clearly what the truth is as opposed to the appearance.

Sound easy? It is if you are honest with yourself. Peace.”
